Island Fling, built by Goetz as Esmeralda, kicks off her Asian yachting season with a first place in the Hong Kong-Vietnam Race and a second in the China Coast Regatta.

Paul Winkelmann's TP 52 Island Fling, the Goetz-built boat formerly known as Esmeralda and Bambakou, made her debut in Asian yachting with a bang. Taking second place in the China Coast Regatta and first place in the Hong Kong-Vietnam Race, Island Fling also finished third in class at the King's Cup in early December.
