Friday, September 21, 2007 marked the industry-wide grand opening for the new Goetz Custom Boats shop. Approximately 300 guests attended the open house, and enjoyed speeches from Eric Goetz, RI Governor Don Carcieri, PUMA Ocean Racing skipper Ken Read, Paul Harden of the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation, and Eric’s sister Venice Goetz.

Visitors who toured the site received a sneak preview of the new PUMA Volvo 70, currently under construction at GCB.
