GOETZ news > ARCHIVES > PEGASUS 50 REFIT

GCB is frequently the first stop for owners of recently purchased previously-owned boats needing a refit. A recent case in point was Philippe Kahn’s Pegasus 50, which arrived at Goetz in April for extensive work to prepare it for the 2007 Transpac.

Goetz technicians, along with Philippe’s crew, updated the mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems, installed a new winch package, rebuilt the engine and installed a new saildrive on this Open 50. In addition, a new companionway hatch was built, the boards and rudder were refaired, and the boat received new paint and gorgeous graphics by Graham Batting of Go Pyro! Studios of Barrington, RI.

Pegasus will be launched in San Francisco.
